Can someone confirm Blue cat or Channel cat?

Is that last picture the fish in question? That last fish is a blue.

I'm strongly inclined to say that the albino is a channel. Pics are hard to look at on the phone though and I'd like to see it out of the water. The color of the fish in question in the water doesn't seem right for a blue. Albino blues do exist, but they are exceedingly rare. Albino channels OTOH are a dime a dozen. As such, Occam's razor strongly indicates a channel as well.

Do keep in mind I'm viewing pics that are the size of a nickle on my cell phone. I'll revisit this on my PC this evening.

The pictures of the larger cats that are completely out of the water are blues. I am still thinking channel on the others in question, even after sleeping on it. Chix is right about albino or even "Pink/Orange" varieties being rare. I have never seen a picture of one(although I have never searched for one to be honest),muchless one in the wild.

The cat is not albino, it's a slate blue color as shown in the last picture, I guess the water is making the color appear that way for some reason.

So then that last pic is the same fish as the fish in the pool?

Oh its definitely a blue. I didn't realize that the fish pictured in the last post of the first page was the same fish. It looks albino in the water on my phone.

He looks good!

Did you raise him from a fingerling or did you pull him out of the river and throw him in the pool?

Edit- is... is... is he dead?

That is another one I caught from a dam I fish at. I catch at least 20-30 every week. A few are in my basement pond with my flatheads, channels, etc. I like keeping the big ones. My wife is partly ok with all my fish pets between the pond outside, the pool in the basement and my big indoor pond, currently still being built. :nilly:

They are catching a lot all the time in the 60-80lb range. I just want to get one of those to keep and I'll be happy.

I never intentionally keep them either. They stay out of water for a good 4-5 hours and then I get home and they are still alive and kicking. I put them in water and they come back full of life...it's the craziest thing. I now realize catfish can live out of water for quite a long time. This is how they are the whole time on my boat and ride home:

Agree with Zeke and Rob. The OP fish is a channel. Later out-of-the-water pic is of a blue. The difference is very clear to me, as well as to Zeke. I think Rob needs either a new phone, or a PC, or glasses :) so he stops doubting himself :) unless I am thoroughly confused... :) hmm, am I? Nah...
