even more confusing is that there are two types of a.b. Johnson and Scott.they have put pit, english, and many more breed into the lines for sure.Hanging papers and judges that cheat are the norm for this breed. It's one dog if you get make sure it is a reputable breeder. This my purebred a.b.View attachment 1041422View attachment 1041423View attachment 1041424

On a lighter note nice looking bully :D how old is he/she ?

Very similar problems go on in share pei breeding , the worst problem is something called shar pei fever due to bad breeding this can cause a whole series of problems adding to the list of more common shar pei problems such as ears , eyes , skin . fever can cause swelling of the hock joints there legs blow up like balloons and weep its not nice , the fever can also cause kidney and organ failure so the dog ends up poisoning its own body they can't keep fluid inside them and there body slowly shuts down , this is what happened to my first pei mampi who we lost at the age of two it was a very traumatic time for me and my family as we couldn't do anything to save him:(
This is all due to bad breeding , dodgy papers and money , and like you say takes away everything good breeders are trying to achieve with a lot of time and effort

wow.yeah you really have to be careful

no.not usually.mostly people who are into pits do that.a lot of people who can't keep pits for whatever reason get into a.b.s instead

I haven't seen very many pits with their tails docked, just cropped ears.Thats part of what threw me off with the woman's dog. What's a.b.s?
