Those are amazing kels! I wouldn't say all cichla are from coming from Asia. You just need to know the vendors you are getting your fish from. I have 4 cichla that are all wild caught not tank raised from Asia. Again it's all about who your purchase your fish from. Yes cb from Asia had flooded the market but the true cichla keepers know where to look for true wild caught cichla. This is the cichla season so I hope to see some pretty neat wild caught ones pop up soon!

There are still plenty of wild cichla out there. But believe me when I say that not all cichla being sold as wild are.
