I had a Ford instructor tell me a story of the same thing happening to a guy in KC with his new Ford GT. He even went to the dealer and watched the PDI. He requested all the plastic be left on it as it was going to be put into storage once home. The guy couldn't resist the urge to hot dog it. Broke loose and never brought it back. Wrapped around a pole. Complete loss.
Curious why anyone would say diesel is the way to go?
Diesel gets way better gas mileage. And can't forget about all the torque. Plus I love the way they sound and smell.

Lol, only if we're talking about a turbo diesel, and only if we're towing something Imo![]()
I absolutely hate the smell of diesel. The sounds not alot better either. Sounds like metal rattling around.Plus I love the way they sound and smell.
