No but it's certifiably real and certifiably stupid.

Nothing Impossible...I bet lot of you already saw a giant snakehead in 15 gallons tank. It's kinda you knew speed limit is 45 m/h but you drive 60 m/h anyway right? same for ppls overstocked their fish tank.

More like knowing the speed limit is 45mph and hitting 145mph......in regards to that first pic

its a shame u guys dont know who "Anythingfish" is....(not directed at u o.p.) he's only like the forefather of monster fish keeping on here, geeze, lol... he has/had a couple tanks like this in his kitchen that were on an autodrip system and extensive filtration system under the floor. So albit crowded, these fish were extremly well taken care of and just for display so to speak. He also had an 8k gallon so everyone can take there boo hoos about poor fish husbandry somewhere else....cant judge a book by its cover lol...

If that is a real picture, as some claim, what the owner has done is help convince less wealthy or knowledgeable fish keepers that crowding fish in tanks like that is not just acceptable but it's cool. It's the fish who will suffer for that.

What if he was just moving the fish? Or maybe their big fishtank broke and they had to house these in a smaller tank as they waited to fix or replace the old one? Once I had a 40g with cichlids and due to hard financial situation I had to sell everything and the tank went fist so I just moved 20 odd cichlids to a 20g tank I had laying around.... It looked preatty much like the one on the photo :/ as said before, you can't judge a book by its cover ;)

OP never did mentioned where/who the pics came from. In any case, you're right, the name still doesn't ring any bells.....whooptido! Like many others here, I'm just a simple fish keeper and don't know so much (and/or really care) about the history and/or "significant" members on this forum. Just hanging out with others who shares my interests and to learn and maybe help out others who are getting started.

The unselfish thing to do would have been to rehome most of them
