Are there any real differences between WC and cb black arowanas? Coloration is what I am particularly curious about. Also temperament.
If you are in the US i highly doubt your black aro is captive... what they do in south america is catch the male holding young then cut its head off and take the babies... That is why you will see them for sale when they still have yolk sacks
Actually not really. There is a larger amount of cb black aros that have been coming into the us from Asia.
One of the things I noticed was on the smaller fish the orange trim of wilds was more yellow on cb. They seemed to turn nicer after they grew and had a proper diet.

Really? That is interesting.. and good news to me. Hopefully the survival rate on these are better then the wild caught babies.
