Empire seems like it will be a good drama show. But I can't get into drama shows. To me they are boring.
Empire is okay.I especially like Terrence Howard's character.He's good in those kinds of roles..Power,the show on STARZ that some say it copies is better though.
Who likes comic book TV shows?

They also included the Walking Dead spinoff.
There will be a pre- Superman called Krypton (hosted by syfy). That should be interesting.
CW will host Supergirl and will be in the Arrow/Flash universe.

While I don't believe in Comic book burnout. Most of these are low grade heroes and I don't have any plans to watch most of them. Anything on Netflex is an easy choice not to watch as I don't have it. I'll most likely only try to watch the ones I listed(walking dead spinoff, Supergirl and Krypton). My finger's going to be on the can button for Krypton since syfy is hosting it.
