Yeah but then there's the powerheads and the air pumps etc...my air pump is so dang loud, even with acoustic foam in the stand :headshake Sometimes I sit there and wonder how my fish can stand all that racket...LOL

The G6 looks interesting...I might get it just because it looks cool.

Nice scape BTW!!!

With temp set at 75F~77F and output filter toward the water surface you don't need air pump, I'm running 2x G6 on my display tank and a surface skimmer, water always crystal clear at all time (after years my driftwood stopped or leak out very low amount of tannish color so my purigen+carbon clear it out easy)
*Thanks for the comment :D my tank look alot better now, that picture almost a year old :D
**If you zoom in my picture you will see my heater setup at 75F and the current room temp at 80 cause it damn hot here :D (normally room temp at 77F~80F in summer and 75F in winter)

Thing is, I'm running the air pump as insurance against blackouts.

I have the tank running at 75 to curb the aggression with my p's. Still fin nips here and there but nothing too major.

*knocks on wood* :uhoh:
