Why haven't Coldwater species have been popularized yet?

How many side discussions are present in this thread? There's me and jaws and one or two others going on photo rants, then there's something about brook trout streams, then people who argue over geography, and then the people who've just posted once or twice. I feel like this thread is half a mature discussion and half random pictures and accusations. Either way, this is the busiest natives thread I've seen since I've joined and it's pretty amusing honestly.:popcorn:

Occasionally, I'll normally catch a few in a lake up in north central pa. I normally go up there for 2-5 days to fish wild Brookie creeks but I always take half a day or a day for this lake because every trout is easily 16-30". A rainbow I had last year was 28" and almost snapped my 3 weight fly rod.

I dont think anything is wrong with this thread at all op asked why natives werent more popular ....a few of us are giving some decent reasons....others are just saying they like natives better and everyone else should too
