also toxic to plants and can stain your silicone seals.

will also stain your rug, (learned the hard way) or any porous surface.

what dosage? says right on the caution can interfere with nitrifying bacteria, resulting in rapid ammonia and or nitrite rise in the tank. it is suggested to be used in a separate tank.

Not meth blue from Kordon.

As far as it staining anything in the tank. That's only true if your overdosing. When I first started using it I dyed most of a 75 gallon tank. Hasn't happened since.

if it works for you that's great, I am sticking with directed use and dosage and advising the same. :)

Never changed the cycling a bit.
Normally I couldn't say that with confidence but if u saw my post last week in general section I just bought an api test kit. I dosed the tank due to some new stock. Even with added stock and meth blue I'm reading 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite.

Kordon advertises as 100% safe for aquarium use. All there products have recommended dosages but as far as I knew Kordon didn't make any product you can overdose with. Maybe they use less of a concentration.

Interesting info. I will look into it, thanks!

this is off there web page for it.
CAUTIONS
This product should not be used in recirculation systems that utilize biological filtration. Methylene Blue will interfere with the normal biological processes of nitrifying filter bacteria. Methylene Blue can also interfere with normal plant growth.
