Interesting New Cichla...Not Farmies....Opinions?

Just got these guys home and in the tank..

I have a feeling about what they are but want to see if anyone else thinks the same....i wound up buying the entire batch in true C.R.E.A.M style

They look like farmies to me - and if you bought them at a LFS, they almost definitely are.
(Assuming they were cheap - since you bought them all - then yes, they are.)

Not LFS fish, not cheap (well, depends on what you view as cheap), and not farmies (well, not mono/ocell anyway)....

These came from overseas...

Head shape reminds me of orinos only not really exactly right...almost piquiti-ish?

Me too...

Staring at them more one one side of each (and both sides on one) the third and second bar are closer together than they are supposed to be....

They were invoiced as kelberi...this coupled with the a-symetrical barring makes me wonder if its kelrino/kelzul? thought they were done with that a while back tho...
