looking for cichlids that grow really big and are aggressive

well i did some research. only other jack dempseys will coexist with my jack dempsey. and mine is at 8 inches. closest thing to that is a jack dempsey at the fish store i saw the other day it was like 6-7 inches. but alot smaller than mine for some reason. also i just got my jack dempsey in on wednesday. he acclimated quickly but everytime i come in there he hides behind a rock or when i turn on a light. then when i leave he comes back out and starts swimming around lol. how long before he gets used to me cause i havent fed him for nearly 2 days now.
i dont know about that. usually with cichlids aggression is worst with conspecifics. they seem them as breeding competition.
in my experience, jack dempseys are typically shy.
put some food in there and he may eat it when youre not around.
if it was me i would put the flowerhorn in the 55 and the jd in the 100 and add something like a cuban they get around 10 in and are more aggressive than jd or maybe a red terror. red terrors grow somewhat slow and get very aggressive and when they color up they look awesome!! (i got a pair I'm trying to breed) grammodes are cool too they don't get too big but are aggressive too. u could also look into pike cichlids some don't get bigger than 10 in just do some research on them. red tiger motas are cool too they max out at around 12in and they are related to dovii and jaguars. i got one right now that is about 7 in and he is brutal. Parachromis loisellei also related to jags and dovii as well as parachromis friedrichsthalii. all these are options for you 100 just do your research before u get any. i would add 3-5 of these in a 100 with lots of places for them to hide. good luck hope u find what your looking for.
as others said keep the flowerhorn alone in the 55 then stock the 100g sensibly, if you have a jd i would add a small pleco like a gold spot a couple of zizag eels a group of 3 spotted pims and then think about other hardy but smaller cichlids, it will be trial and error with a larger fish. could do a pike cichlid and a convict, maybe as a centre piece a green texas. try too add 3-4 cichlids in one go to help disperse aggression. dont add anything that gets over 10 inch or you are asking for balll ache, a midas or red devil will take that tank and kill everything. could search for a bumblebee oscar dont they max out at 10 inch?
Justarn Bumblees get large. The crassprinis tend to be smaller, but neither are available
