My jag is smaller than my Other cichlids and is always hiding, he eats but only when it comes to him will he grow ok he hides in the rocks

As long as he's eating he should be ok, but the smaller food quantity will affect growth rate. Most likely, there will come a point when he will get aggressive during feeding and risk the aggression for a larger share of the food.

OK thanks for the help I just didn't want him to fall behind with growth as he is with oscars and green terror he seems happy enough but doesn't come out much as he gets chased. Will the lower amount of food stunt his growth or just slow it down

Kind of a crab shoot on how aggressive (and brave) it may become during feeding time. Chances are it will probably not get the bulk of the food and will fall behind on growth. It shouldn't stunt its growth, but it may not reach its full potential either.

I don't think you need to worry about him falling behind the green terror.

It won't stunt his growth but it'll slow it down. I don't know if it'll have an impact on him in the long run though. As long as he is eating and has good water I don't see why he can't eventually become a brute.

Are you sure it's a male Jag? If it's a male then as soon when its reach 6 inches it will tear apart other tank mates all days long, if its a female then everyone most likely will live together peacefully. I kept my baby Jag 3 inches in a planted tank with 3" clown loach (4), cory cat (5), 3" pictus cat (1), octocinlus (5), 3" green terror (1 male)...Everyone was fine for few months until my Jag hit 7~8 inches, every tank mates I listed here got KILLED by the Jag :p

It won't get as much food as it could with those oscars you could always divide during feeding to assure he gets the amount of food your comfortable with if not those oscars will always get the majority of the food and the green terror ain't gonna outgrow nobody lol so your good there

+1 on this, once a male gets big enough he will rule the tank in most cases, Oscars jaws can not compete with a male jag, once he decides to dominate things will happen quickly, a female jag pretty docile, I have had no probs with a 9" female living with 2 Oscars in a 180g.

Very true it's going to be a whole diffrent situation once the jag gets bigger

Can be a tricky situation here, even if it is a male , with prolonged smaller feeding and hiding , can slow down/stunt growth.
You also mention , it eats when the food comes to him , as time passes , tankmates can polish off more than needed and the jaguar might not get to eat anything on some days.
I strongly believe , that a fish must not be in constant hiding for its full potential to be unleashed.
How big is your tank and how many fishes in total you have in the tank.
