They look great in person. Its a caramel shade with chocolate and greenish splotches.

Their scales also stand out more.

The last silver dollar had not been consumed. I just underestimated how much talapia the congi had eaten, and the SD was hiding. I found it this morning and moved it to the guppy breeder tank with the others. They have been treated with aquarium salt and melafix. That tank is way overfiltered and has an air stone. I'm hoping they survive.

Yes they are. Primo is sold out. No confirmation, but I think aquascapeonline bought the last of their stock and doubled the price. As soon as primo sold their last ten aso posted them as being available at twice primo's asking price. Again, purely speculation.

When you got them were they a lot more blacker? I also have one from the same batch and mine is about 80% black

No, mine are more of a caramel color. When they're eating they turn chocolate, and when they're 'sleeping' they take on an ash-brown color. Theyre supposed to get darker with age. Most of the huge ones ive seen are dark, dark brown or black.

Post a pic! An all black wc longnose has everyone riled up in the gar forum. They're having a DNA test done to see what's going on with it.

I used to have the same garnet sand as you. But trust me, it won't work. Your bichirs will be washed out... Nice updates tho! Digging the congicus a lot!
