Bigger question would be how many shops inside are actually occupied though... Having been in and out of China a bit i know a lot of the times new malls come up but remain half to almost completely empty for years...
And with that much space to fill, its hard to imagine how it will work out, since how are people expected to walk that long...
So i would expect if the hype carries it may be a success, otherwise i can see this project possibly being a flop after a little while...

Nobody is being obtuse.I was thinking that the structure while nice,is not as impressive if it cost next to nothing to build it....and,really? the big pyramid? lol.
Have you heard of "garbage in, garbage out?" You won't get a nice structure out of a penny! Don't/didn't you own a Kia or a Hyundai? You should have the idea of the product from the money you paid
