I did a check on the Jebao with all the power setting (said it previously in a post)

I'm curious how many of you guys are actually checking these claimed consumption numbers???

Via Kill-o-watt? Or something else?

Yes, I have a kill-a-watt meter, and I can track the Amps with my Apex since it tells me the power usage on my system

I checked mine and they were pulling 90 watts not the 85 listed on the box

But they arent very strong at all either. I bet at 6' head the dc12000 is only 1500 gph not the 2500 or whatever is listed

any updates on what you guys think of these pumps? Between ordering these or lagunas.

Charney Charney They have the Newer models out now DCT, Ive heard good things about them as well, and they have an even more powerful, 15000 model if needed, I am still running 5 old style pumps that I have had for a long time now and all have been working flawlessly, not one has stopped working with the actual pump or electronics in any way. Feed mode and power up or down works just as needed, 3 run at full power and 2 run at half and almost lowest flow. Currently have them on a 400 gallon, 210 gallon, 120 gallon and 75 gallon and one runs my media reactor.

:) Just under 2 years running for me right now :)

I think they are good pumps but I also know the reeflo pumps are great as well. only had one laguna and sold it before I ever used it.

I have two of the dct12000. one as a water change mover/backup, the other on my aquaculture setup I have. The one has been running 24/7 for 6 months now at 3/4 speed. No complaints on my end.

I have a DC-12000 I've been using since January or so of this year when I built the sump for the 150. I've been pretty happy with it overall. I run it on setting 2 out of 5, which is supposed to be 70% load? When I bought it I was hoping to run it at least on 3, maybe 4, and I technically could turn it up to 3 if I made a few adjustments - but I found that setting 2 is plenty and my tank is staying cleaner than any tank I've had before. The kicker - I keep Japanese and English shubunkin - goldfish. Even with these messy fish the water stays crystal clean thanks to a 16 inch, 25 micron felt sock I use as the first thing water goes through in my sump. I change the sock once a week.

I am curious what kind if gph I am getting at 5 feet but I'm not too worried about it since it's been doing such a good job.

Just yesterday had prob my 5th jebao pump die, im seriously annoyed with these pumps... I highly advise people not to buy these pumps!!!!
