The whole point of a sump is that any media is exposed to air. You want to build a canister. Honestly a glass tank would not be the best way to go about this.
Agreed... there is the safety risk too... aquariums already tend to be on the risky side of what they can hold for water... you'll have no idea what pressurizing it will do.
Off subject, after looking at your pics, and the kind of fish you have, I always find it interesting to see what people in different countries find interesting.
