I use fluidised bed filter. Its the best if not for the basic troubles. It also has mulm problems, with them growing inside and slowing flow.
 
Agreed... there is the safety risk too... aquariums already tend to be on the risky side of what they can hold for water... you'll have no idea what pressurizing it will do.
 
Off subject, after looking at your pics, and the kind of fish you have, I always find it interesting to see what people in different countries find interesting.
One of my favorite fish to keep is from your country, Etroplus suratensus.
I believe is popular for dinner where you are.

Right. No we donot eat chromides. Dont know if it is eaten where they are caught!
 
I like synspilums. Would one day keep a group in a 300-400 gal. The L200s are lovely, maybe 2-3 of them and after some time a tigrinus catfish.

The problem with synspilum are the colour conundrum. To me a synspilum is this (from the Internet)
