any tree can be a shrub. just keep hacking it down, bonzie tree a whole nother matter. least in my mind.

it is. read page 61 in the book I referenced earlier. Growing from seed
"...two years in open ground can achieve an amount of growth that may take twenty years if it is pot grown."
as I said earlier, I'm thickening the trunk. I want it to look like a tree, not a twig.
