He will be more active when he gets bigger. My 12 inch black arowana shoots up to the front of the tank now when I enter the room or come within sight of the tank. always simming back and forth, hoping I will chuck some goodies in the tank for him to feast on!

I know he'll be more active with time and size.....just such waiting!! Slowly getting better though. just thankful he's eating good and growing

Thought I'd drop an update. Just under 7". Moving him to his next tank later today. Setting it up now. Eats 10-15 pellets a day. Still a little skittish but doesn't hide At all. Might post pix later.

Update!! Lol he's about 17-18" now. Going into my 350 I just bought as soon as we move. Still has lots of black and some red. With a cell phone It's impossible to get a decent pic since he never stops moving.
You bet. He eats anything that's dropped in my tank. Shrimp, tilapia, flake, zucchini, bison heart(one a month), insects.....anything lol
