Kolibasaurus Rex in the house!

Hey day two and pics, im trying!
Yeah I already have a weeksii from him.
I came close to selling mine but now two years later its 13" and starting to make a big impression as it roams the tank
Yeah, I am very happy with the two bichir that I have got from him. Who knows maybe another is in the near future.
Iv had a Congi a black Volta endli a ornate a weeksii and a farana lap from Jason all were nice fish especially the Volta and farana they were super nice!
Yesterday rex jumped to his death. I was pretty bummed and did not post. Today Im a bit clearer headed.
This is how tight my plastic strip is. The fish made it out that little spot!
If I would have straightened it out I would call it 14" for sure. He managed to jump out that little spot that the water comes in at with the hob filter. It is a pretty tight little spot but it accomplished it. Found the fish on the other side of the two car garage! It made it quite a ways. I tried to revive it and manage to get a little mouth movement and fin twitch but it was too far gone.
Another bichir is in the future but I am going to make a cover for the filter somehow before I get another.
