So I have an old 75 gallon with 3/8 glass. Now I have 3 48x18 sheets of glass. I want to build a 48x48x18 180 gallon tank. If I were to buy another 48x18 sheet of 3/8.

And use 5/8 sheet as the 48x48.75 as the bottom.

I will euro brace this tank well.

I have seen that all I need is 3/8 since the water level will stay at 16". Just wanted some other diy peoples advice

Yes if you euro brace it. I have used scs1200 and it's great i would give it a full 2 weeks to cure tho. Guys use it to build big all glass tanks I'm talking around the 500 gallon mark

I was going to do the same kind idea but I was using a front pain from a 110 tall so it was 48x 33 and find a few 90 tall to make the sides out of but got kinda side tracked. Ended up putting my marble motoro pups in a 125 instead. Still have the base just need to find the 90 tall tanks
