granny, good to hear you're healing up nicely.

you using that pic as an av is as legal as me streaming ppv events for free off the internet
Oh hey, so I'm an outlaw?

Well, maybe I'm an outlaw? but I didn't get it from the photographers' website. it was in an educational article about Golden Trout in California's Eastern High Sierras. no copyright mark on there.
BrookKeeper's Av is the same photographer's opening website photo :-]
at least I hustled a little bit to find mine! haha

well, I did say it was legal. I wasn't being sarcastic

it's not illegal to stream ppv events for free off the internet

Correction, my Avi is a picture that I took personally, in my tank...

Their site opens to a picture of a smallmouth bass...

I was just excited to see your Avi because I thought maybe you were keeping golden trout... but then again, they are threatened, so maybe that wouldn't be that cool anyway...

maybe your other post explained it.

maybe because of your weather you guys tend to go roller skating more. so people tend to be better at roller skating and don't need the walkers.

here in sunny California, we probably rather do other activities like go to the beach and hiking and do general outdoor activities so we tend no to be stuck doing indoor stuff

you guys are probably better at the Olympic sport of curling than the average Californian I would guess

Lol@curling. Can you do sweet tricks on those walkers?

Oh, that's cool. all I did was google the name you posted- and didn't even take the time to compare the images. So much crap on my mind, I don't pay attention.

I don't know, I've never used one. my daughter went with her cousins and I saw pics and a short video clip. it was the first time I had ever seen or heard of them

I have not rollerskated in over ten years. last time I went was on a date with my wife when we first started dating. they didn't have the walkers then

I remember in the early 80's, when I was about 12, the roller rinks were the big teenage hangouts. We would skate from 6pm to like 2am, rocking out to bands like REO Speedwagon. Today, teenagers would maybe go to a movie, where they fill up on junk food, then go back home and play video games all night, while filling up on more junk food. No more wonder there's an obesity problem in this country.

I remember back in the day there used to be a roller rink in just about every part of the city..There was Carmen's,The Great Skate,WoW,Dancin Skates and others but most of them are gone now...just like the bowling alleys.

Around me, bowling alleys are sorta making a comeback. Todays bowling alleys are no longer "dives" like days of old. I don't bowl much, but when I do, its always been a good time, every time!
