Looks like a football with fins...........lol. Hard to say if it's 14", but I'd say it's at least 12". Love seeing large/beautiful examples of Cichlids that are several years old.
Same, it's probably been done before; but i'll create a thread asking people what the biggest sizes of cichlid they've seen!
cool, wish people would show a measurement when they claim the biggest on youtube tho.
Probably from being cramped up in too small a tank. If it is legitimately 14 inches, and its in a 55; it won't even be able to properly turn around :/
It's an aging GT, showing it in its sluggish movement, rigidity of the frame, and lackluster color. I have a share of a few GT that lived to and died of old age that looked like the one in youtube. No way it can be 14 inch without a scale to prove it. The largest GT I owned and measured at death max out at 10 inch.
with out some kind of perspective for size any ones guess. even pulling back from the tank would helped.
that be a yes and a no. age of the fish says whats up with care not size, per say. if 2 years old giant and dead, well? now 6 or 8 years old, I would agree.
