So I know I'm really late to this post but I have a flowerhorn and about a week or two ago he started getting white spots but like the original post no change in his appetite or behavior,I did some research thinking it was white spot disease but now I'm starting to think I have a fader but still unsure.can anyone confirm or give me their thoughts?

Im glad I found this post, I got four red dragon Flowerhorns December 2015 and they were about and inch long, now I have one in a 20 gallon by itself, it is the biggest of the four, and i have the other three in a 47 gallon octagon, and they have been doing great, well I was gone for over a month recently and I had my friend feed my fish while I was gone, and because I was gone so long the tanks didnt get cleaned at all, while I was cleaning the octagon I noticed one of the fish when it swam by cause it looked white, so I got the best ictures I could get.
The one one the right is from the same batch as the one one the left that looks blotchy, and its throat is now ellow, Ive been wondering if this is fading or some genetic mutation or something?
