Well at the moment I have a eshopps1800 over flow box right now and Iam running 1.5" dual drains into my sump now my return is 1" all the way and is powered by a RS Electric rs-753a pump 210watts - 170ltr/min which is 2694gph if my math is right lol and guessing that is likely @ 4ft of head height as most start there rather then zero.... I have the pump turned down with my ball valve to run at 50-60% or so to keep drains and everything slightly at same speed and proper levels

Now I have two choices Iam thinking of getting mind I'm also wanting to switch to pull back on electricity my two choices are, also keep in mind I have 5ft of head height give or take some

1. Jebao dcs9000 65watts 2375gph

2. Jebao dcs12000 100watts 3165gph

Go with two smaller sized pumps. Might cost a bit more, but having redundant pumps is always best in my book.

If I had room in my sump I would but it only designed for one right now ..... Only way I can get a bigger sump under my tank atm would be building a new stand as well and I don't have finds for that atm and my wife would shoot me likely lol

Cuz i told her if i build a stand in going to buy a much bigger tank lmao

Those flow rates are a bit excessive for a 150g. I don't like to restrict the flow of pumps and canisters unless I have to. I would recommend a Rio 2500 or 3100. You will be looking at about 700gph at 4 foot head with the 3100. I love these pumps because of how compact and efficient they are.

I also like a high turn over rate for my system and have always have had a high turn over rate.... I need something something to keep up with drains and something decent on electricity

I'm probably going to get the dct6000 for my 180, my Quiet One pump is anything but quiet. I feel like the 9000 would be too much even bleeding some off or valving down
