Yeah,most livebeares will graze on algae.I have found veija are good algae grazers too.

I like it everywhere but the front glass. I hate it on the front glass.
That's right.I have to trim the algae on the branches weekly with scissors. if i don't it takes over.
I know what you mean it can be a pain in planted set ups.Depends what you're going for, looks great in the tank shown above; but in mine it cuts off light to other plants I'd rather grow
I got some nasty brown algae on the back of my tank. lol had the tank for 6 years and never had green algae once.
What type of lighting are you using? Spectrum and strength, also what size is that tank? Do you dose with ferts/Co2 etc? I really like that but I never get algae like that. Are those branches you collected or purchased driftwood branches.

Mine looks crap. But I let it grow anyways. Yeah the fish loves it. Plus the algae adds some more oxygen to the tank, and soaks up excess nutrients. So aside from the aesthetics side of things, algae is actually super good. :3

Agreed.
Same here.Currently,algae is no issue either way with me since I rarely have enough lights on that would support any kind of growth.
