"Best" Air Pump V2.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
110 LPM at 110 watts isn't very efficient......

The link I posted is over twice the efficiency.....

I have been searching and can't really find much info on that dolphin pump. The reviews on the previous model where so so. have you found anything?

as you know al..i use alita pumps anywhere from the 40 to the 100..the 100 is crazy powerful and will run a heck of a lot of tanks..in my experinces, the 40 will run a biochamber sump for a 750g with alittle to spare for tank air discs..a 60lpm will give you alittle extra boost and that's model has been my staple for years.

I am still considering them. Now is the noise? Do they have a rebuild kit for when the diaphragm goes?

I'm only seeing up to 80s on Aquabid from Mr. Garcia.

Looks like they make a 200...... lol

Thanks man! I'll email him and see if I can get a price list. Really dig the 3 year warranty. Everything else I'm looking at is 1 year.

I need a lot of air...... Been running 3 AP 100s. That should be a total of 450 lpm.

Problem is I think the Pond masters are over rated. I have a Jehmco 60 I replaced one of the ap 100s with and I don't see a difference at all.

That and the fact that Danner (pondmaster) customer service is garbage has me looking for a defferent brand of pump. Which is all too ironic since I swore after the hydrive 4700s I had that were nothing but problomatic junk I swore I'd NEVER own another Danner product ever again and now here I sit with over $500 in junk air pumps.......

What's really sad is I've been recommending these things cause of the specs, so now others will eventually have a bitter taste for this junk. Sorry guys, I will be the first to admit I was wrong about these pumps.

How many tanks are you running and what is the deepest one. We had a terrible time trying to run our setup of 140 tanks. So I phoned up JHemco and they set me up with a blower not a problem since.
I got the 5/8 horse it runs on 110 and thwy figure should run 700 tanks. Should have gone with 2 inch line to go with it but I went inch and a half. Any way maybe look into a blower they are relatively quiet too.
