Toughest fish, pound-for-pound?

Convicts (pink) in my experience.
I've had a 2 or 3 inch male stand up to large bodied fish with devastating results, but still managed to protect his brood. They fear almost no fish and barely value their safety, when protecting fry though.
I've had rainbow shark? (Black with red tail) that would harass my red belly pygos long ago, and all the other fish.

A 2 inch convict of similar mass against 2 inch snakehead piranha wolffish, my money is on convict.

Fahaka puffer. Kill absolutely anything in the tank, even tankmates far larger. So aggressive I have read experts even wonder how they can breed. And puffers have crazy bites - stores out there of people losing fingers to them (salt ones) and a YouTube video showing a puffer easily taking bites out of metal can. Plus they have nasty toxins ftw.

Where can you get pickerel?
Thanks

There's a marsh in western PA that we catch them at. Although I haven't caught any in a few months, hopefully some more YOYs this spring. Plenty of central mudminnows too.

I'd like to catch some of those mudminnows, never even saw any the few times I went to the marsh.

Mine are awesome little fish. They eat flake and frozen food plus guppy fry whenever the females give birth. Sadly, mind haven't grown since I got them in May and they're only 1.25-1.50".

id like to set up a marsh biotope tank. that may be my next project.

Quason, those are amazing fish. Haven't seen too many that aggressive, most are fairly lazy and passive.
M MrBlueDream the Malabaricus Wolffish is probably the one that you might be referring to. The Hoplias Curupira, Lacerdae, and Aimara are very active, with the Aimara being the most aggressive of the bunch.
