Today in the morning I saw the aro jumping a lot and after sometime there Is a big crack on my 300 gallon..now have to move him to a 20 gallon. My exams are round the corner so I could not make a new tank for about 45 days, I just want to know will he be fine in the 20 for the time cause he looks rather stressed. Whew it's got a lot of power...

Can it move or turn

I do not see a fish big enough to break the glass on a 300g tank fitting into a 20g. sure the fish broke the tank?

and curious, 300g on the floor was not a problem?

excuse the pun, but something fishy here. IMHO.

Also a 20 long should be fine for him I don't think he cracked your tank there is no way. I've had arowanas that thing is a juvenile compared to the Giants I had that never broke my tank

Sure the aro will be stressed in the much smaller tank for the time being but as long as you keep an eye on the water conditions, and the aro does not jump or break the 20 then it should be alright for a short while.
BTW where on the tank is the crack and does the aro have any visible injuries?
