Identify this bug?

Beats me. I looked through all 282 native Minnesota insect species and didn't find it. It's likely a stowaway from the lfs or grocery produce department. U Minn has a large Entomology department. Collect a few and take them over for ID.

gotta be an invasive like 1 of those Asian stinkbugs we got now that have no natural predators or even anything that will eat them.

We should start a business selling cans of freeze dried stinkbugs for fish food lol
 
lol no? Google "green insects of Minnesota" .....there's only a few that resemble the ones he has
The critters in question just don't look like those to me.

haha as I'm sitting here doing that to hype up my dog and typing it in, the damn commercial comes on and it's for Mtn Dew.....lol Doritos and Mtn Dew.......all anyone needs to survive an apocalypse.
