lol i know what freezer burnt looks like and feels like. flesh is still intact. You never know, that batch could possibly be "faulty" and wasn't sealed properly. Unless you tasted the fish for yourself, you would never know.

Apparently you only know freezer burn when it gets very extensive. The first stage of freezer burn is in the taste not the appearancelol i know what freezer burnt looks like and feels like. flesh is still intact.

I don't know the answer, but I would imagine it does since things are altering at the molecular levelIs nutritional value compromised at this point? Might have to start quality testing to make sure my bloodworms aren't freezer burnt.

Video or it didn't happen lolI'll do the taste test on the bloodworms and report back my findings.
freezer burn requires oxygen to contact the meat... if the flesh is vaccuum sealed less likely to be freezer burnt... and i doubt every bag of tilapia ive ever fed had freezer burn...Apparently you only know freezer burn when it gets very extensive. Just trying to help you out by giving you different possibilities, but you appear to have things all figured out.....good luck to yafreezer burn requires oxygen to contact the meat... if the flesh is vaccuum sealed less likely to be freezer burnt... and i doubt every bag of tilapia ive ever fed had freezer burn...
lol worms are expensive... but im currently raising a worm farm to try and make it a decent staple for my rays. As for pellets... none of my rays take pellets directly. i actually stuff them in the body cavity of store bought smelt when i feed them. I never see my rays eat pellets directly.Poor quality also goes for shrimp from China. Any seafood or fish from China is absolutely garbage. I am feeding shrimp right now and it's says its from China. IMO it could come with a risk. Best diet for Rays would be home grown worms and pellets IMO!!!!
