Start off with TheraA 1mm. It has extra garlic to increase palatability.
Your discus should be eating this as well. Try pre-soaking in water to soften up the pellets before feeding it. It may spit this out initially, but will eventually take it when they get hungry enough.

Why are you recommending this pellets?

Ok, I found the ingredients
Whole Antarctic Krill Meal, Whole Herring Meal, Whole Wheat Flour, Algae Meal, Garlic, Beta Carotene, Spirulina, Vegetable and Fruit Extract, Ginseng, Vitamin A Acetate, DL Alphatocopherol (E), D-Activated Animal-Sterol (D3), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Niacin, Folic Acid, Biotin, Thiamine, Riboflavin Supplement, ...

It seems to be good for the fish

Why are you recommending this pellets? I couldn't find the ingredients for this pellets. But I saw good reviews on this food on Amazon.
If you hang out on fish forums long enough, especially here, you would understand why. NLS is considered by many THE BEST nutritionally manufactured fish food available today. There are plenty of "food fight" on this forum over this topic. There are other brand that is considered decent , but Tetra is somewhere near the bottom of the quality fish food list

Just a correction to the info I provided regarding my Oscar. He/she is at 2", not 2.5" previously stated in my post. So it is 0.5" growth in 14 days.

Yeah that's way too much food. I've had dozens of Oscars through the years and they will eat anything. Just keep to some descent nutrition and get a descent pellet food. I always liked the omega one line. Here's what a Google search brings up on good quality food -http://oscarfishcare.com/food/

Your Oscar fish will probably get sick if you continue to feed that much. Not only from getting too much food but the waste in the tank will also probably cause hole in the head disease.

My water is always at top quality because I do 80% w/c every 2 days and my tank is currently under stocked now. I have feed him varieties of food, try not to overfeed.

Not sure why you saying I am feeding the Oscar too much.
