it is impressive seeing this site the way it is. most forums are either heavily moderated for content or full of trolls and nonsense or both. There are a lot of things you can read here that I would have expected to see lots of people flipping their lids. My 1st week here, I expected to see explosions of posts over certain topics, posts, etc and I'm sitting here saying to myself like "Are these people or bots? They just keep it so civil", but it's not quite that after a month. There are some arguments and it seems like some members who downright don't like each other.....but still very civil nonetheless
Big difference from a few years ago when there were plenty of threads full of hot and heavy debate..Nowadays the lounge is a shadow if it's former self and the cichlid subforums used to be home of battle royals of differences of opinion.
Oh, I don't doubt it.....Cichlids always are LOL Some recent events here made me stop and think if my posting is up to par or if I am becoming abrasive. We really have to double-check everything we post because the smallest things become issues and drama.....peoples' skin seems to have gotten much thinner over the past 20 years.

Yep and they are still pretty pricey but I lucked up on this one as it was the last pup the breeder had and she was shutting down her operation.I was able to get him for well under a thousand dollars.I have a thread with photos of him that you can check out when you get a minute.
