Cool I have a clown knife I was getting rid of but I threw him in my Oscar tank and he's doing fine now. I decided I might keep him until he gets to big for my tank just thought I'd grow him out for now and not worry about it. And really? That's interesting you can get small peacocks around me for like $20-50 depending on bread the same for dats or atleast tiger and silver dats I've seen for $20 their pretty common too. I mean you might have to go to an actual LFS because chains stores don't carry any but their here for sure!

Yea I have but they when I go they rarely have what I'm looking for and if they do there may be one left also I won't be going there again for a while because some young guy that was bagging my feeders was extremely rude and the owner wasn't there it was only him and some young girl what happened was he asked what the feeders were for I told him my clown knife in my 210 and he asked what size my clown knife is I told him approximately 7 inches then we went on a rant saying I'm going to kill my clown knife that I'm buying too many feeders and clown knives don't know when to stop eating and can eat themselves to death ( 40 guppies is not a lot especially in the size tank eating them all at once is impossible for the clown knife to do in the space that's available) then he stated " you shouldn't be allowed to have such a nice fish " he gave me my feeders and said " whatever it's your fish do what you want " so it's going to be a while until I go to fishy business again and if I do I will be sure to speak to the owner oh and the best part was when he said a 210 gallon tank is way too small for a clown knife and he needs to be moved to a pond already since he's already 7 inches and clown knives can reach up to 5 feet? At that moment I knew he had no idea what he was talking about maybe in the wild a clown knife can hit 4 feet maybe 3-1/2 but in captivity I've never seen one past 1-1/2 feet or 2 feet

Wow I think I know who ur talking about he has some sorta blood relation to the owner I think. But wow is he wrong his information is based on like Wikipedia pretty much. A 7 inch knife isn't gonna reach 4 ft in like a month that's like an arowana doing the same I mean they grow fast but not that fast

Exactly he needs to take his Wikipedia info somewhere else lmao besides if my clown knife does get too big I would just sell him to someone who has a bigger home for him that's what I did with my tiger shovelnose he got huge and didn't fit in my 210 anymore so I sold him to someone who had a 5,000 gallon pond and the same with my red tail catfish
