I've been there sir I know how it is. Check your nitrates and do 25% water changes every 3 days and post an update if you see changes
I got home and checked to see if my dad had a nitrogen test kit and he didn't. And my mom won't take me to the lfs today and my parents work till 12 at night on Friday so I'll have to get my water tested at my lfs on Saturday
Just so I know what are the signs of nitrogen poisoning in a tank? My arowana seems active when I got home and the Angels look fine and the arowana ate some crickets and mealworms and the Angels ate too so what do u think the issue is? If u think I have a nitrogen issue I'll change my water tommorow so plz let me know
Honestly what you are describing sounds like high nitrates. Aro was eating everything you put in there and now he is picky, filter is a lil on the smaller side and so is tank. I was just adding up the facts, nothing you can't fix. But high nitrates won't kill a fish but they will slow down its appetite and normal personality, so fish look fine and act fine but a lil off. Boom nitrates. Haha
Also while doing those changes should I still try pellets or just wait after wards
Do a 25% water change every three days and try to feed them like you did before he started being picky
How long should I do this process for? And will constant water changes affect any of the fish?
