Word of Caution on buying fish

Sorry I don't blame the store they are just selling what they got in so I won't name the store name. I would bet that most of the chain stores get their fish from the same places so it would all be the same.
What is defined as a chain store though? I am not interested in the name of the shop. Is it branded or like a wholesale shop?

To me chain stores are the nation wide chains like Petco, Petmsart, Pet supples plus...

Also doing some thinking I'm pretty sure I contaminated the green teror tank. So that is all my fault. Hope they make it also.
Good luck. Did you clean the tank (disinefect) the tank and filter body? That might help prevent ent contamination

I will drain the tank and clean it once the fish recover or die. I don't see any reason to do that and move the fish to another tank.

I clean my QT very well and allow them to fully dry for 2 weeks before putting water back into the tank. I clean the sponge filters with bleach and allow them to dry for 2-3 weeks before I start to reseed them in tanks. I think I cross contaminated the tank with a drain hose I used.

Also I think the BN pleco is where this all started, then infected the angels.

Corporate fish store? That doesn't sound to good
Its actually not bad, depending on whose managing the store. I have a couple of good ones near me and they actually do a better job than many of the privately owned shops.

Be careful with using bleach as a sanitizer. They tend to leave residue even after a good rinsing.....I've learned this the hard way. Nowadays, when I bleach my tanks/equipments, I do a good rinsing, then refill and add dechlorinator and let that soak for at least a day. Then another good rinsing after that.

Yes I like to let them dry fully then soak in water for a few days before drying again. I don't use a lot of bleach but I do agree it is better to be on the safe side and be sure you got it all out.
