I was taking apart a 125 tank and cracked the bottom... needless to say out came the hammer which made it much easier to get the bottom off. I was using it for davenmandys plywood build and just keeping the rest. I only paid 30 bucks for it
Threw an fluval c4 hob filter on the floor so I couldn't use that anymore either...

you have anger problems LOLOLOL!!!

Had a bit of spare time so thought I'd clean my filter and do a quick 20% waterchange a 20 min job. 2 hours later I was wondering how much fun it would be to take the filter outside and beat it to death with a hammer
Haha! Fortunately my filters have yet to give me that hard of a time.

I've done that. I bought a 20 gal for $5 was taking it apart to use the walls as baffles for a sump, I guess I did a little to much prying on the brace and the front glass cracked right across the middle.

Must admit partly my fault, put the filter back together, primed it got it all running again then went to get rid of the water I washed the media in to find 50% of the media in the bottom of the bucket. Stripped all down again put media back in then the sodding thing started pissing me about

I had an old emperor 400 that was making noises. Took if off to clean and the cord caught between the door and floor. It ripped the filter right out of my hand and landed on the floor. Cover cracked, intake tube broke so got pissed and kicked the damn filter against the wall. End of emperor filter.

Same thing happened with an ac110. Chair caught the cord and yanked it out of my hand. Was able to asave the motor but the wife was pissed i got dirty fish water in her fancy chairs that no one sits in.....whi has chairs that no one is allowed to sit in anyway ?!?
