Okay I need to chime in, my 100 litre tank when my baileyi died, I turned the pump off but didn't lock off the pipes on the filter. Next morning 50-60 litres of stinking dead fish water on the white carpet!! And I had a flight to catch that morning.. Basically I kicked the base unit till it collapsed... While screaming abuse at it.... Not my finest hour lol

I've thankfully never had a real meltdown with my tanks lol, it is after all glass; and I can just imagine the horror and regret if a tank shattered lol.

Saying that, I have loudly sweared at tanks that I'm trying to plant or decorate; especially when things fall out, float or generally repeatedly annoy me :P I did end up sort of breaking my grabber/planter tool once after i threw it across the room lol, it works wonkily now

I filled a 10g in the wash basin a few years ago when I was getting back into cichlids the 1st time and it shattered when I lifted it and I had 4 inch cut right through my palm that needed stitches badly, but due to our home remedy book, I took care of it and it healed up scarless to my surprise. It was bad, lotsa blood

the tank always wins. anger is futile. your feelings are futile......and I wasn't even no types of mad at it, I just wanted to fill and dump the S.O.B.

Aren't you Scottish? I thought you guys loudly sweared at everything.

Trying to cut a piece of half inch glass for davenmandys pup tank. Scored it tried to snap it and it followed the score 80 percent of the way down then went off the line right into the pam of my hand. I had all my weight on the glass
