If I chat get a job in marine bio then I'll open an offroad shop or something like that

Don't listen to these guys. Major in what you want to major in and go for the job you want to go for. Jesus guys..... Worse thing that happens here is he gets a degree in marine biology.

Start here. http://marinebio.org/marinebio/careers/us-schools/

Then decide how far you want to travel. pick a few schools, take a look at their acceptance rates, then once you've picked a few schools look at how big their Marie bio programs are. You can get a good idea of this by seeing how many different concentrations they offer with the degree. Example, I'm equal distance from utep and Nmsu. But Nmsu offers 4 or 5 different concentrations with their physics degree. Utep only offers two. So... I decided to go with Nmsu because their program was a little bigger. Hope this helps.

Do what you want to do and if your good at what you do there will be jobs for you. If your good people will pay you to do your masters and continue, from what I know in Canada a lot of people take marine biology and have a tough time finding a job after but that does not mean it can't be done. Finding a job with any degree is difficult but specialization pays off so pursue what makes you happy

Oh and if you are going into marine biology as one of those people that are like "I want to work with dolphins" then you will be hit in the head with a shovel real quick. Biology courses are a lot of memorization and some pretty tough concepts so really look into what you will be doing before making a decision. If you are already aware of how competitive it will be and the amount of studying you will do then by all means go for something you love. Hell I'm studying rocks
