Best Battery Powered Air Pump?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Whoah! An $80 battery air pump? That thing gotta push crazy amounts of air! Boil the water! I have the crappy air pumps, they last one or two seasons. Crap out on you when you need them...
I know, I was tripping on the price too but it does move a ton of water and is two speeds. I'm thinking I'll use it more for power outages or transporting larger fish.

Good to see another kamaaina on here. E komo mai
you guys know a simple "Gang Valve" will allow you to purchase any speed pump and control the turnover manually???? I forget what make mine is, but I have the airline run to a 2-way and run 2 more airlines off that into 2 different 5 gallon buckets and I just turn the dial until the air flow is equal in each bucket.

I run a few gang valves and they are very convenient, need to get a few more. I picked this air pump up last week and have some air to spareIMG_0724.JPG

No, it just a manifold in pic but I do have adjustable gang valves elsewhere.

I've been happy with the PondMaster, my last air pump in my garage started failing and became incredibly loud but it happened gradually, before I knew it you could hear it next door. Im hoping i didnt suffer any hearing damage.lol

is this for fishing or in case of power-outages or what?

The battery powered pump is more for power outages but the last pump pictured is running some of my breeder tanks and is a plug in PondMaster ap-20
