Is it legal to use barbed wire on residential property?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yep. An arapaima maybe four feet long tried to launch itself through a net and launched into his chest instead. Evidently his heartbeat is still irregular. Arapaima are basically living battering rams, they're just a chunk of muscle -specifically built to launch at things- with a big hunk of solid bone on the front.
In lieu of arapaima, you could try just a long pond with snakes. Wouldn't even have to be venomous ones, just regular snakes would probably be enough. Less liability, too.

You know what though, dead serious here, you can get two birds stoned at once if you build a big pond where they jump in, so long as it's possible with your yard and deep enough to have the kids scrambling, and then you get to house more fish. Would have to be long enough, which means you can keep bigger fish. Win win as long as there isn't an easement on your property. What a great excuse to build a pond? I'm sure someone suggested already.

You could set out some big piles of sticks, maybe get some bricks and mortar and make a small shelter then place plants and leaves overtop it - it would get pretty warm and attract a lot of snakes.

It does kill two birds with one stone but it's pretty expensive!

K krichardson wanted a new fish project anyway. You could have some pretty nice cats in there...

Well that settles it, you're getting a pond man.
I could do trench type of pond, spanning the length of the fence.

He really has no choice at this point :D
Well, since a motion activated machinegun turret is totally out of the question I'll do a pond.....IF you guys would be willing to donate an electric eel.

The hell are you talking about a trench for? You can't keep any 8-foot fish in that? You'll need to have it span over your whole yard... maybe do like an island in the middle and you can have a patio.

I think we can make a GoFundMe for your electric eel... lol!
