Maybe it's a kid raising that poor errr "Oscar" & just doesn't understand what he's doing while mum & dad aren't taking any notice or maybe just maybe the unsuspecting owner used the Wal-Mart fish guide & thinks it's all good.

that is a beast midevil wow. somone here needs to take him home, get him into an appropriate home and keep us updated!
Such a bummer. You should seriously pick that thing up even if you can house it temporarily. Keep the pics and put them out to real fish keepers in your area and someone will give it a decent home, I know I would.
This truthfully tho doesn't surprise me In the slightest. I own a cichlid speciality store and you wouldn't belive the amount of people who come in thinking there going to cram a **** to of fish in a "big" tank and by big I mean 20 g max lol. And as the buisness owner it's so hard to stear them away from a sale but I was a hobbiest long before I was a sales person so fish needs come first but yeah these things kill me I always end up with fish I don't want cus I have to "rescue" them lol
