Hello guys I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but my jardini is 17" long about 4" height and about 2" thick in a 55 gallon tank with a fluvial 206 filter system and i recently bought 100 marimos about 1" and 100 marimos about 2" wanted to cover the entire bottom of tank and i have about 70 in there now and I'm not trying to kill my fish was wondering if the 200 marimo balls would be safe for my jardini?

Sure... Marimo balls are good! Should help with water quality! What bothers about the pic is all those NASTY disease harboring feeder fish!

Sorry for the thread derail, but may I ask what a "tancho" is? :)
Tanchos are usually all white, but they can be black and have patterns, but more importantly, they have a large spot, usually orange on there head that is only on their head and does not extend to or onto the scales behind their head. The spot stays on their head. I have a tancho comet in the pond that is all white with an orange spot.

Ahh yep. One of my babies was like that, but as he's grown his orange spot has shrunk, and continues to shrink, now its about 3mm in diameter... Is he a tancho? Or not?

I'm going to have a white goldfish named Seafood Extender... :D

Also, to the original poster, sorry for derailing your thread with goldfish talk. :)

The only thing I advice you to do is please get him a bigger tank asap. 55g is only 13" wide, that jardini can't even turn. Are you sure your jar is 17" in the picture he look smaller. But if he really his 17" please get some thing bigger then 24" wide tank for him.

BTW he look nice, got those pearl around him.
