  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Why spend money on the balls when he needs a 180g bare minimum (6x2x2) 55gal is waaaaaayy to small! Not trying to flame or anything but he really needs a bigger tank asap!

I rehoused my Jardini because I was afraid he would be unhappy in a 180...
I miss this fish, such a powerful monster!

Ahh yep. One of my babies was like that, but as he's grown his orange spot has shrunk, and continues to shrink, now its about 3mm in diameter... Is he a tancho? Or not?

I'm going to have a white goldfish named Seafood Extender... :D

Also, to the original poster, sorry for derailing your thread with goldfish talk. :)
Did his orange spot ever go outside his head or on to his scales?

if i could have it my way i would have a bigger tank but i live in the city in apartment don't have enough room for a bigger tank i had him for 5 years he seems used to it lol. Thanks for input on the tancho going to get a smaller tank for him also buying fresh water shrimps to put inside the tank as well. thanks for all the help guys!

Nope. It started out as an almost perfect circle on the very top of his head, now its a tiny blotch on the top of his head. :)

Then i guess he is/was a tancho. Goldfish can change color.
Yeah, my fantail started out quad coloured (orange, black, white and red) and is now deep orange with tiny white patches. No black or "red" anywhere. Even now at 4+ yrs old her white is still slowly spreading across her body. One of my babies is starting to developing white on her belly at almost three years old, so that much I knew. Also, thanks for all your help and putting up with my questions.

To the OP, I'll stop junking up your thread now. Sorry about all the goldfish talk. :D
