Andinoacara stalsbergi is white/silver edged but is not a white saum.
As neutrino has said rivulatus the true green terror can be white/silver edged, or,red/orange/gold edged. It is also known as gold saum or silver saum but is still the same green terror known as rivulatus. They are just different colours.
Stalsbergi is a different species altogether and is always silver/white.
It does get a little confusing but I hope that clears things up a little.

Interesting... I thought I read an article by Alf Stalsberg saying that the original imports(known at the time to be green terrors) where later classified as Stalsbergi and the later imported fish would come to be called rivulatus. I will have to look at it again.

Read lem.net andinoacara.
It's a paper by alf stalsberg on all andinoacara.
He himself admits he was wrong about the origins of this fish.
The original imports were rivulatus but they were known as something else at that time, can't remember the name.

They both look male to me.
Not 100% on the sex of the silver one but if I had to guess I would say male.
Let them settle in for a couple of weeks and then post some more pics.
Should be easier to tell once it's more settled.

My thoughts as well. I'll give them some time and then take more pics.

The orange fella is definitely dominant and less shy. I was just tossing a ball in my hand about ten feet away from the tank and every time it was in the air he would swim up against the glass. Already the coolest fish I've ever owned lol. He leaves the clown barbs alone but the silver one has been at them a lot.

Last question before I let this post die

I don't have a cover on my tank. Just the LED light. The cover is old and ugly and the LED light is new.

Is this is an issue? Do these guys jump?

I think both male too. And yes these do jump I'd be getting a cover ASAP. I come home to my big female dried up on the carpet a couple of weeks ago. The gap she got through was pretty small I was very surprised. I still can't believe she was still alive and survived. You wouldn't of even know it happened a day or 2 after

Damn! Okay good to know thank you.

I've seen all kinds of different species jump out of tanks.
