Special ordered a bunch of different s American cichlids and got a extra bag of 4 fish I didn't order. And werent marked so who can identify them they look like possible part of the Geophagus family but not 100% so anyone know what they are

Those look Vieja to me. Not sure what type as they're clearly stressed from shipping. Awesome score
I agree that it is Vieja melanurum (formerly synspillum).

17"?? They get big... But no where near that unless exposed to gamma rays.
I'm not kidding you at aquarium adventure in shaumberg whoever is local in the Chicagoland area they have 3-4 monsters in there. It's a huge tank I'd say 1000 gallons or so and easily been there for 6 years or so.
I talked to the manager and he measured one at 17" he said when it got sick and had to quarantine it he ended up measuring it. I believe it its huge.
