What UV sanitizing filter do you use? I've had nothing but bad luck with these guys but haven't tried a UV filter.

I've had the smaller uv filter since 2014 with no issues, just upgraded and moved smaller one to smaller tank. So far I like the larger one, you can turn the uv on or off without turning the whole filter off. The smaller is just whole thing on or off. Hope that helps!

I had a separate over the back filter running as well with the smaller one. The smaller one I would not use as a primary filter, just for the uv (not a good combo unit)

I got mine from Tampa bay cichlids, they mailed them to me. I was very happy with them. If your interested in same as mine.

Good morning! Just wanted to share how well this guy is doing so far. Bought in April at about 1 1/4 inch, now at the 4 inch mark.

Electric blue Rocio Octofasciata is a natural occurring color morph, not a hybrid of Rocio Octofasciata and Nandopsis Tetracanthus. I can see the resemblance sort of though
