Police Officers Refused Service at Taco Bell

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if you think I am "soft" you do not know me very well. :)

lets put this in context, starting with we where not there. they did not rob any one, they did not set fire to anything, they where not drunk on the job, they where not selling meth out the take out, they did not rape any one, matter of fact they did not break any laws. It would appear they tried to play a stupid joke and the police themselves made the judgement call on it.

So they can turn into burglars to make their money? :p
If they are the sort of people that I suspect then they probably already rob and steal.....no minimum wage job is going to change that.

Lol, yep they weren't doing their job. They're not there to make any statements, they're there to slang tacos with a smile.
Right and the problem is this was no mere joke or prank,in fact stunts such as this has been pulled quite a few times recently at various food joints across the country.

Maybe so but benefit of the doubt is my way of thinking on this.

And what if they're not criminals, just dumb kids trying to make a bit of coin to buy the latest cod game? By firing them you'll just create criminals... At least, that's how it happens down here.

Then,in that case why not give them the benefit of the doubt that they would not use this an excuse to become criminals if fired but instead swallow a bitter pill and learn a hard lesson that one's job is for work and not for pulling stunts on would be paying customers or making political or social statements.

just because they work at a taco bell does not make them hoodlums, my second oldest daughter and her husband have worked at subway for years now. they are managers of there stores now, they get up and go to work, work while there, pay there rent and are no means dead beats or dis-respectful ****s. Hell they bring home fixens for dinner once or twice a week to treat us. and no not subways food, dinner for 7 from the grocery store, salads main protein bla bla bla.

They are good kids.

I suppose. I'm just going off of what I've seen around me.

Bob is 15 and working at McDonald's.
Bob gets fired for stupid (in his eyes, anyway) reason.
Bob still wants money.
Bob sees a big TV in someones house while walking past.
Bob goes back later to steal said TV.
Bob then becomes a thief because he wants money and doesn't have a job and guess what? Crime pays well apparently... Until you go to prison anyway..

This is just what I've seen around me. Kids are so cotton wooled these days that if you tell them "no! bad child!" they go stupid and be all like "mum told me no, now I'm going to become a criminal to prove she can't tell me what to do, I am the one in charge after all."

If that all makes sense? :)

Oh no don't misunderstand me I'm not indicting them because of their choice of employment....that's not it at all.I just feel that most of the kind of people that harbor these anti police sentiments are not exactly the cream of the crop and they have no right to use someone's place of business as their platform.
