New baby girl

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Really nice pup Alan, all the best with her, keep the updates coming, somehow I think she is going to be a real looker in 6 months time.

Thank you all for the kind words.......

I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering what kind of pricetg ray like this would bring. I need to get some money recooped from recent upgrades and just assumed people would only buy black rays, so rather then give the Pearl another go at the ladies I have left them in with "Jack".

Starting to wonder if that was the right decision...... As I look at this girl and think I might enjoy her more then a simple black and white ray, but then again blackies have never appealed to me like they have everyone else, so I would LOVE to hear your guys' opinions...... Could hybrids like these fetch the same kind of money as pure blackies?

Please share your opinions!!!!

DB, i would assume a ray like this would go in the 750-900 range? but that is just a guess.
like you said it isnt "black" so it may be hard to get the top dollar.
but yes i think you messed up not breeding the same two again :) lol

IF Jack's pups will fetch more then that was the right choice..... lol.

I've got a pair of 300+ gallons that need to get set up. Have bought 3 new air pumps, 4 new water pumps, UVs coming, have had lots of trips to the plumming store and haven't even gotten my quote for bactria house bio so definitely need to get some funds together......

She's getting darker....... :)

Thank you guys for the kind words! :)

She definitely changes. Will be neat to see if she ends up black and white. Lots of the spots are turning white in the center and the base is already darkening up a lot.....

She's proven to be quite the hand full as she seems to pick on whatever she's housed with. She's huge for her age - at 11 months she's already like 3 times the mass of some of my little cb Marbles that are pushing 3 years of age.
